Finding inspiration
Every piece begins with inspiration. I draw ideas from nature — the colors of stones, the textures of rocks, and the flowing shapes of rivers and plants. Sometimes inspiration comes from emotions or stories my clients share. This is the moment when I imagine how a stone and copper wire can transform into something unique and meaningful.
Selecting the stones & copper
Next, I carefully choose the stones I will work with. Each stone has its own character — its color, shape, and energy. I let the stone guide me in deciding the best way to highlight its beauty. I pair the stones with high-quality copper wire, which is flexible yet strong enough to wrap and hold the stone securely.
Designing
Before touching the materials, I visualize the design. Sometimes I sketch, sometimes I let the stone “speak” to me, allowing its shape to guide the wire wrapping. I consider balance, form, and how the piece will feel when worn. This stage is crucial for creating jewelry that is both beautiful and comfortable.
Once the main structure is complete, I refine the piece. I smooth edges, adjust the shape, and make sure the stone is securely held. I polish the copper so it shines while keeping the natural warmth of the metal. The final step is always a careful inspection — every detail matters.
