Every piece of PappiRotsi Art jewelry begins with simple materials — copper, a natural stone and an idea.
From shaping and wrapping to soldering, oxidizing and polishing, every step is done by hand in my workshop. No shortcuts, no mass production — just time, tools and a lot of creativity. 🤎
The Stone Comes First
Sometimes a design begins with a stone, sometimes with an idea. I look at its shape, colors and natural details and let them guide the direction of the piece.
Shaping the Copper
This is where the piece begins to take shape. I bend, wrap, weave, hammer or solder the copper by hand, adapting the design as I work.
I rarely follow a fixed plan — the final form develops naturally through the process.
Bringing Out the Character
Depending on the design, I oxidize the copper to create depth and bring out its details. The piece is then carefully cleaned and polished, revealing the warm highlights beneath the darker patina.
The Final Touch
Every piece is carefully finished and inspected by hand. I refine the details, polish the copper and make sure everything feels and looks just right.
Then it’s ready to leave my workshop and begin its own story with you. 🤎
